Vittorio Angelone comes to the leading Southampton Comedy Club

Vittorio Angelone, a comedian of Italian-Irish descent, comes to The Attic, Southampton's favourite Comedy Venue. Vittorio renowned was raised in Belfast. Initially training to be a classical musician in London, he changed paths and opted for stand-up comedy.

His popularity increased greatly and rapidly across the comedy industry with his stand-up acts, podcasts and sketches gaining millions of views online.

Vittorio Angelone has opened for prominent names in the comedy world, such as Jason Manford, Adam Rowe, Shane Todd, and Dan Nightingale.

In 2022 Vittorio's first run of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe was successful enough to be sold out and he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Dave Comedy Awards.

Vittorio has made appearances on BBC One, Channel 4 and Two Vegan Idiots Podcasts, as well as being a guest and co-host of Have A Word Podcast.

Vittorio Angelone attended a performance of Brian Friel's play "Translations" at the National Theatre in London. He was entranced by it but would later be disconcerted by the English audience's reaction.

Join Vittorio as he tackles being Irish in England, questions of identity and how often sad comedies are rewarded with accolades.

Despite his show being nominated for an award it did not ultimately win, though Vittorio Angelone’s thought-provoking act still has relevance.
