Our Friday SIM Home Ed Group is a musical safe haven for little ones

We are a Southampton centre for Home Education Music, which has been developed from our work with the local community, offering families who home-educate their children in the Southampton and Hampshire area the opportunity to learn and experience making music in a safe and creative environment. We ensure to prioritise high-quality music-making activities with an emphasis on fun and inclusivity.

We provide group music lessons for singing, drums, guitar, piano, songwriting and production and recording. We encourage all to create original songs, write lyrics and melodies, developing technical skills at the same time with an instrument of their choice.

Our Thursday Southampton Youth Inclusion Music Network is a fun place to create for teens

Southampton Youth Inclusion Network (SYIMN) is our music group for young adults aged 12 to 19 who want to commit to developing their music.

Participants will be encouraged to create original songs, write lyrics and melodies, developing creative/technical skills in the instrument of their choice. Progressing towards recording and performance.

Much like our Friday Home Ed group, SYIMN includes high-quality music-making activities placing emphasis on fun and inclusivity, providing a nurturing music hub, and giving young people opportunities to independently be involved in music afterwards beyond the project. They get the opportunity to create and learn through singing, playing an instrument, song writing, music productions, music appreciation and theory lessons. We provide production, drum, guitar, piano and singing lessons.
