Headliner Simon Brodkin Saturday 10th January

“A prodigious talent” The Times

With his “electrifying crowd work” (Bruce Dessau), Simon is one of the most exciting stand-up comedians to see live. His recent 170-date international ‘Screwed Up’ tour was extended four times due to incredible demand, including three nights at London’s prestigious Hammersmith Apollo, and a headline-grabbing appearance on the Royal Variety Performance.

Over the years Simon has made front pages around the world with his iconic stunts, showering disgraced FIFA boss Sepp Blatter with dollar bills, handing British Prime Minister Theresa May a P45, joining Kanye West on stage at Glastonbury and surrounding President Donald Trump with swastika-emblazoned golf balls. Watch the stunts here.

Simon first rose to fame with his outrageous characters, including “comedy legend” (The Sun) Lee Nelson and preening Premier League footballer Jason Bent. As well as many TV appearances (Live at the Apollo, Sunday Night at the Palladium, The John Bishop Christmas Show, Children In Need), Simon wrote and starred in three hugely successful BBC Three series of Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show and Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People.

Nathan Eagle

Nathan is an engaging storyteller who gives the audience a glimpse of his life growing up working class, work as a care home nurse and even shows off his surprisingly gymnastic party trick.

Winner of Spinaker Tower Gong Show.

Winner of Portsmouth Comedian of the Year. 2018

Nominated for a Portsmouth Guide Award.

“Owns the stage” Bunbury Magazine

“Nathan Eagle is a real powerhouse onstage, very confident, naturally funny and incendiary, wonderfully constructed comic rants”- Paul Tonkinson

Pat Smith

Essex-born ex-soldier turned comedian Pat Smith has swapped barracks for the stage, armed with a sharp wit and a cheeky grin. A man clearly drawn to careers where avoiding bombs is key, Pat has made waves in comedy since stepping up to the mic.

He’s racked up wins at top competitions like Leicester Comedy Festival’s Laughter Craft Gong and Up The Creek’s The Blackout, and claimed victory on Ustreme TV’s Laughter Class. His success led to Pat Smith: LIVE, a 30-minute stand-up special commissioned by Ustreme TV, and a spot supporting Jim Davidson on tour.

Pat’s online sketches have gone viral, amassing millions of views and earning a feature on BBC Essex’s Upload. His rise has also grabbed headlines in outlets like Chortle and The Sunday Express.

Now touring the UK, Pat proves Essex isn’t all about TOWIE—it’s about being “stupid in other ways” too. With raw charm and hilarious tales about family, friends, and life, Pat will have you laughing from the get-go.
