Jenny Foulds is a poet and performer at The Attic in Southampton
Jenny is the host and curator of Spoken Word night Rebel Soapbox and has featured at poetry events across the UK including Hammer & Tongue, Loud Poets, Tongue Fu, Stanza Poetry festival and Glastonbury. She is also the former Scottish Slam Champion and World Slam Championship finalist. As an actor, she was a series regular in Two Thousand Acres of Sky (BBC) and appeared in various TV and film roles including Rebus, Mandancin’, Taggart and The Debt Collector.
Her show, Life Learnings of a Nonsensical Human is an ode to friendship, queerness and raving. To the kindness of strangers, to the heart-break of loss and finding joy in the most unlikely places. These stories are for old ravers and fun makers, for anyone who has had a best friend. It is a love letter to the people we meet along the way and the sticky floors we have danced on all these years.
