Georgie Jones Poet on New Tour "More Ups Than Downs" at The Attic Southampton - Saturday 15th May
Georgie Jones has (very scientifically) sorted her entire existence into two categories; Ups and Downs.
A cinematic kiss after a perfect date? Up
Contracting cystitis on day two of a five day camping trip? Down. Spectacular down.
Georgie Jones is a poet and performer at The Attic in Southampton
Praised for her ‘formidable stage presence and compelling way with words’ (Reviews Hub) Georgie brings spoken word, stand up and just a smidge of oversharing to the stage in this ‘unmissable solo hour’ (Broadway Baby)
More Ups Than Downs is packed with good stories, bad decisions, and the hope that with a little bit of luck and a handful of good people, at the end of it all we might just find ourselves with more ups than downs
‘I cannot help but be mesmerised by the writing talent Georgie possesses’ - Voice Mag
‘Jones proves she’s one to watch’ - London Theatre One
‘Formidable stage presence and compelling way with words’ - Theatre Box
'Riveting, relevant, relatable poetry' Deborah Frances White
'Georgie Jones has an extraordinary gift' Beth O'Leary
