The Attic in Southampton has a great opportunity for start-up comedians! Come down to Totton for The Attic’s Comedy Open Mic Night, which is held on the first Thursday of each month.

Our Comedy Open Mic Nights are the perfect place for aspiring comedians who want to bravely venture onto the stage, armed with the desire to make people laugh. It may seem like treacherous waters at first, but you will never find yourself a more welcoming, friendly and funny crowd than ours.

Out with the old and in with the new! Come and see some new talent in Hampshire's local and surrounding areas.

Ben Pope stand-up comedian comes to Southampton

Ben Pope is a stand-up comedian, writer, and comedy performer. He often gigs around the UK and his critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe shows 'Baby Sasquatch' (2018) and 'Dancing Bear' (2019) were ‘consistently funny and desperately thoughtful’ (The Scotsman). This led to him going to London’s Soho Theatre and gaining more than 30k views on his YouTube channel, Mr Big Stuff.

Ben was once one out of three members of the cult sketch group Princes of Main. He has previously worked with award-winning NewsRevue and has appeared on Achievement Unlocked (Comedy Central), Comedy Guide to Life (Dave) and BBC New Comedy Award on Radio 4 Extra.

Once a budding actor, Travis has now taken to the stand up circuit to quip about his long locks, love for food and unique background. He was a finalist in the New Forest New Comedian of the Year Competition and is one to watch on the south coast comedy scene.
