Alexander Bennett

Alexander Bennett's comedy is widely known for its playful silliness and deep thoughtfulness and this makes him perfect for children's comedy performances. He has taped many standup specials and recently started a new podcast called Born Yesterday with comedian Andy Barr; this show has featured such guests as Jordan Gray, Phil Wang, and Eshaan Akbar.

He was heavily involved in Mark Watson's Comedy Marathon and was nominated at the Leicester Comedy Awards as part of Consignia. Additionally, he helped organize a charity event at the Pleasance Grand in Edinburgh called Dan Vs Food that featured Phil Wang, Ed Gamble, Iain Stirling, Nick Helm, Sophie Duker and Ivo Graham among 25+ other comedians watching a man named Dan eating his lunch.

Furthermore, he appeared on Radio 4 shows "Insane in the Men Brain" and "The Comedian's Comedian" podcast recently.

Alexander is known for his work with This Is Your Trial and Comedy Auction, as well as the prestigious Alternative Comedy Memorial Society. His comedy event This Is Not A Cult has been running at Camden Comedy Club for a while now and its popularity led to it being recommended by Time Out. On top of that, it has seen the presence of many famous television personalities.

The comedian's portfolio does not end here though, as he has also been a guest speaker at the Royal College of Art and Fourth Monkey Theatre Company in addition to making an appearance on multiple radio shows. Besides his comic side, Alexander is also a filmmaker working on projects for television.

We welcome Alexander to The Attic in Southampton for our kid's comedy show.
