Southampton Comedian of the Year at The Attic Heat 2

Come and witness the rising stars of comedy in and around Southampton as they vie for the title of "Southampton Comedian of the Year" at The Attic.

Heat 2, Southampton Comedian of the Year!

Both the judges and the audience will determine the contestants who advance to the Semi Finals and the Grand Final. The acts with the highest audience votes, provided they rank in the top half of the judges' scores, will progress alongside the judges' top scorers.

Once all the acts have performed, each audience member will vote for two acts on their ticket. The results, revealing who will move on to the next round, will be announced on the event day.

Additional categories with a trophy up for grabs for young performer (21 and under) and Rookie of the year (those who have only started gigging in the last 18 months). Please notify us if you fall into either of these categories. These categories will be Judged, from those making the Grand Final.

There will be 12 contestants in each heat and all contestants should prepare a performance of no longer than 5 minutes or risk disqualification.

Entry Requirements: 

The competition is open to any non-professional act who's been performing for 5 years or less and entries from character acts, musical acts and sketch groups are welcome. The only restriction is that all contestants must live in or around Southampton up to a distance of 35 miles maximum.

12:30pm doors. The show starts at 1pm.
